Nashville Boutique Hotel Guide: The Gallatin

Nashville is one of those gems where there is no lack of killer spaces. I was lucky enough to be one of the first guests, as part of my Nashville staycation series, at the Gallatin in East Nashville! Opened Summer 2021, their fresh space is perfect for the budget, boutique solo or group who loves color. Let's check it out... my Nashville Boutique Hotel Guide to The Gallatin!

Before checking in, you are emailed all the instructions of how to get in. It is in a historic church built in the 1920's, renovated with all the modern comforts of today. East is one of my favorite areas in town, known for their creative bars and eclectic vintage shopping. The hotel is even in walking distance to two of my favorite bars, Cobra and Pearl Diver.

They are completely conciergeless, meaning you enter the front door using a code and head straight to your room, featuring keyless entry also. You are greeted by geometric carpets, the cutest seating area, and their common areas which include a complimentary coffee bar and photo booth. Find which floor you are on and head up to your room! Just to note, there are no elevators so get ready to haul that luggage up or down a floor.

Rooms

We stayed in room 319, a blue King room on the third floor! Color block painted walls extend floor to ceiling with matching colorful headboards and tile in the modern updated bath (that includes a Dyson hair dryer y'all). There are king beds, BUNK rooms, and 150 square ft "cozies" (like hostel rooms for our ballers on a budget)!

There's plenty of space to spread out outside of the smaller rooms including a court yard that connects to the neighboring brewery, glam room, and common sitting area with a microwave. This is how to you do Nashville for less $$. Nightly rates depend on the number of guests and availability, but expect an average of $175/night.

Rooms for Rooms Program

Cute right? However, most impressive is their mission to give back to the community of Nashville. Part of your stay goes back into local Nashville charities and nonprofits to fight homelessness through their "Rooms for Rooms" program.

A weekend stay can provide 16 nights in a bed, 100 free showers, or 30 free meals at one of the company's nonprofit partners, like Nashville Rescue Mission, Room in the Inn, People Loving Nashville, and ShowerUp. In the last 5 years, more than 100,000 meals, showers, and beds have been donated. So amazing!

There you have it... my Nashville Boutique Hotel Guide: The Gallatin! I would totally recommend checking them out for your a future stay in Nashville! Chuck and I had a blast during our stay!
