Featured Stay: Riad Les Trois Palmier

Riad Les Trois Palmiers El Bacha is next on my series of featured stays around the world that are run by small biz owners, unique in their own way, and inspire my creative soul. The team invited me to check out the riad on my visit to the old medina of Marrakech. Wanna know more about why you should stay here?! Keep reading…

HEADS UP: If you book under my blog, I earn a small commission at no cost to you! Thanks for booking with Morgo Goes.

Enjoy two pools, rooftop terrace, and complimentary breakfast for the mornings under the three palm trees on the first floor terrace. Each level is even more magical as you go up the tiled staircase.

We stayed in the Alaouite suite, which the owner himself recommended to us. IT WAS PERFECT, especially for a couple. The on suite bathroom had one of the biggest bathtubs I have ever been in and its stained glass windows were magical as the sunset over the roof in the afternoon. The only thing more magical than the space is the people.

We got lost in the medina one evening and it had started to get dark outside. Since locals often try to solicit money from tourists by “leading them to their riad” or giving directions, we tried to avoid asking anyone for help when both our GPS failed. Luckily, my friend’s cell phone had international service so we were able to call the front desk attendant (24 door attendants to let you in and out). Saeed met us on the street and lead us back to the riad.

PRO TIP: Record how to get yourself through the many turns to the riad as it is a bit confusing if you don’t write it down or record.

When you think it can’t get any better, wait til you try the food they serve for dinner and breakfast! All the food was amazing and they even popped up a little French red wine to go with. And for breakfast, they had it waiting for us before our transfer to the airport in the morning of our departure. Did I mention the staff goes above and beyond?!
