Nashville Boutique Hotel Guide: Urban Cowboy

2022 was another year full of travel and local staycationing. For my 30th birthday, we booked a night at Urban Cowboy and have stayed multiple other times for varies celebrations. Wanna know what its like to stay inside one of the hippest bed and breakfasts, quickly becoming famous in East Nashville? Here you have it... part one of Nashville Boutique Hotel Guide: Urban Cowboy.

Located in my favorite neighborhood in Nashville, in East is a cozy bed and breakfast called Urban Cowboy. This place is the essence of Nashville for me. Their unique, vintage inspired design featuring a collection of musical instruments in the parlour stays true to it's Music City home.

Check in is from 3pm- just at the Parlor Bar inside to the right. You walk into the foyer and are greeted by a hand crafted wood wall by 1767, a local wood worker. After the host checks you in, they will give you a choice of a welcome drink. We chose a bourbon on the rocks. Swanky I know.

The Suites

We have stayed in the Rose Room and Midnight Rider Suite, which are both on the first floor. The Midnight Rider Suite has features like custom floor to ceiling custom wallpaper, vintage claw foot tub, original hardwood floors, and direct access to the side of the house's wrap around front porch. The large king bed under a 12 foot wooden headboard is covered in the most COMFORTABLE sheets ever. Needless to say, we slept like babies.

These photos are from the Urban Cowboy website. All the suites are situated with vintage claw foot tubs and private in suite bathrooms. Check out availability here!

Public House Bar

In the back of the house, enter Public House Bar. The design is super unique and I'll never get over Pendleton upholstery. Their list of cocktails and now Roberta's pizza pop up are all fire. Snag a seat near the fire pits early since it is first come first serve and no reservations. They open at 4pm Wednesday-Sunday.

I remember one of my favorite memories was in the parlor after our friend had gotten married and booked the place out. The bridal party was quite musically inclined so as the party was winding down, the music started to flow through the lower level like honey. After each song there were toasts and it was a beautiful evening of community, music, and lots of bourbon.

Urban Cowboy is kinda like that. It creeps into your soul and you leaves you feeling like you wanna pull the trigger on that late check out. The cozy vibes give you the vibe of what Nashville's all about.
